These terms and conditions (“Contest Terms”) governs your participation to the contest organized or sponsored by MILLION VICTORIES SAS, a French company having its registered office at: 75 Rue Francis de Pressensé, Villeubanne, FRANCE “The Company”.
“The company” Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, and other policies also govern the participation in this contest.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
Contest Period:
The Contest begins on August 01, 2019 at 13:00pm (U.T.C) and ends on September 09 at 13:00pm (U.T.C)
Agreement to Rules:
By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be bound by these Contest Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of “The company” as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all legal residents of all countries or territories where the Contest is not void or prohibited by law who are at least 18 years or older (as the date of beginning of the Contest) and are otherwise not prohibited, based on the laws or regulations of their country or state of residence, from participating in skill-based competitions with prizes of monetary value.
As part of the Contest process you must have registered an official game account (download for free on Android and iOS) to qualify, and are required to play the Game on the server affiliated with your region.
Employees of “The company”, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.
The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
How to Participate:
– You must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize.
– You can participate by playing the game “Million Lords” on Android or iOS.
– You can participate by sending a content proposal to social@millionlords.com in order to win the Prize #7 “most helpful”.
– You can participate by publishing a video on Youtube or by posting a tweet on Twitter or by posting a message on Instagram with the hashtag #MillionLordsRules to win the Prize #4, #5 and #6.
– You may own only one account on the game and not use multiple accounts to increase your chance of winning.
– You may not use or create “feed” account(s) in order to favor other players or yourself (For the sake of clarity, a “feed” profile is a profile not used by its owner solely in order to win the Game but used to take actions to feed or favor other players within the Game);
– You may not use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, mods or any unauthorized third-party software designed to disguise your location or region of play or modify or interfere with the Game Million Lords without “The company”’s express written consent, modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game;
– You may not to disrupt, overburden, or aid or assist in the disruption or overburdening of any computer or server used to offer or support the Contest or any Game environment;
– You may not engage in any other illegal activities in connection with the Contest or act that “The company” deems to be in conflict with the spirit or intent of the Contest and these Rules.
– If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your participation may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of “The company”.
How to win:
There are 3 servers that regroup players of Million Lords : AS server – US server – EU server.
There will be one winner by server for Prize #1, Prize #2 and Prize #3.
To win Prize #1 “Leader”: You must be ranked number 1 on the leaderboard in Million Lords, on your server at the end of the “August Season” on September 09 at 13:00pm (U.T.C)
To win Prize #2 “Second Best”: You must be ranked number 2 on the leaderboard in Million Lords, on your server at the end of the “August Season” on September 09 at 13:00pm (U.T.C)
To win Prize #3 “Third Best”: You must be ranked number 3 on the leaderboard in Million Lords, on your server at the end of the “August Season” on September 09 at 13:00pm (U.T.C)
To win Prize #4 “Most Viral – Youtube”:
You must own an account on the website Youtube and have published on it a video about the game Million Lords with the hashtag “#MillionLordsRules“ into the title and description of the video, in order to win the prize your video must have the most views at the end of the August season, between all other videos following the same rules, published by other participants of the Contest.
To win Prize #5 “Most Viral – Twitter”:
You must own an account on the social network Twitter and have posted on it a message: “tweet” about the game Million Lords with the hashtag “#MillionLordsRules“ into the tweet, in order to win the prize your tweet must have the most “re-tweet” at the end of the August season, between all other tweets following the same rules, posted by other participants of the Contest.
To win Prize #6 “Most Viral – Instagram”:
You must own an account on the social network Instagram and have posted a message on it about the game Million Lords with the hashtag “#MillionLordsRules“ into the message, in order to win the prize your post must have the most “Likes” at the end of the August season, between all other posts following the same rules, posted by other participants of the Contest.
To win Prize #7 “Most Helpful”:
You must own an email address and have submitted at “social@millionlords.com” any content (video, image…) that could be helpful for a new player on the game Million Lords. In order to win the prize, your content had to be chosen by the community manager of “The company” at the end of the August season.
Prizes
The Winners of the Contest (the “Winner(s)”) will receive:
– For the Prize #1 “Leader” : A $250 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #2 “Second Best”: A $150 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #3 “Third Best”: A $100 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #4 “Most Viral – Youtube”: A $200 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #5 “Most Viral – Twitter”: A $200 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #6 “Most Viral – Instagram”: A $200 Amazon Gift Card.
– For the Prize #7 “Most Helpful” prize: A $150 Amazon Gift Card.
The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by “The company”. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at “The company” discretion. The prize is non transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for “The company” to use Winner’s pseudo, likeness and to share your post or content submitted for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Winner Selection and Contact:
In order to win the Prize #1, #2 and #3 you may send an email at social@millionlords.com after the contest and within 10 days, to claim your prize with the information required by “The company” employees. No private information will be required, only game related information (ex: user ID).
In order to receive the Prize #4, you must provide within 10 days after the Contest, a valid and private email address on your Youtube’s public account information, “The company” employees will use this email address to send you the prize.
In order to receive the Prize #5, you must send within 10 days after the Contest, a direct message to the Million Lords account on the social network Twitter: https://twitter.com/millionlords to claim your prize.
In order to receive the Prize #6, you must send within 10 days after the Contest, a direct message to the Million Lords account on the social network Instagram to claim your prize.
Winner of the Prize #7 will be selected by the community manager of “The company” and will be notified by email on the email address used to submit its content within 5 days following the end of the Contest.
“The company” shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to provide a functional email address. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize, or fails to return the information required, within 10 days after the end of the Contest, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT THE COMPANY‘S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CONTEST, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Rights Granted by You:
By entering this content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that “The company”, anyone acting on behalf of “The company”, and“The company”’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, pseudo, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements or any content submitted about the Contest, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. Optional verbiage for Contests: By submitting any content regarding the Prize #5 and #6, You represent and warrant that your entry is not a re-post (content already published by another user on the website/platform). By submitting any content regarding the Prize #4 and #7 You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of “The company”. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute an infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless “The Company” from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expenses, which “The Company” may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
Terms & Conditions:
“The company” reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond “The company”’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, “The company” may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by “The company”. “The company” reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. “The company” has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, “The company” reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability:
By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless “The company” and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
Disputes:
THIS Contest IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF FRANCE WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in “The company” having jurisdiction: Lyon, France. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Contest). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

Additional Terms:
In case of a major technical issue that will impact the leaderboard of Million Lords (servers down or lost data) “The company” reserve the right to cancel the Contest.

These Contest Terms are part of the “The company” Terms of Service, and we may modify them at any time. In the event a provision of these Contest Terms conflicts with a term of the Terms of Service, these Contest Terms take precedence with respect to any issues related to the Contest.
